The grapes are selected from vineyards located in the western Roero in the commune of Santo Stefano Roero, which is known for their pure sand soils and marine sediments. This translates to the wine's floral aromatics, bright acidity and amazing depth. Fermentation in stainless steel helps preserve the acidity and freshness while subtle lees contact adds richness and complexity. Fruits are bright lemon citrus, underripe stone fruits and a nutty almond finish. Delicious and refreshing. Bottled in Denver.

Vineyard Notes
The vineyards are approximately 20 years old and planted with 4000 to 4500 vines per hectar.
Winemaker Notes
Grapes are first pressed and then clarified. Alcoholic fermentation occurs in stainless steel and does not go under any malolactic fermentation to preserve acidity and freshness. The wine is held in stainless steel tanks on fine lees until it is transferred to Denver and bottled.
Other Notes
Lower Piedmont’s most planted white variety primarily grown in the “left bank”: Roero. Nicknamed “the little rascal” in Piedmontese dialect because some of the older clones were difficult to cultivate. Arneis was nearly extinct in the 1960’s, but thanks to a handful of passionate producers, it became one of Italy’s great white wines known locally and internationally.
