The king of Italian wines, our Barolo comes from a 4-hectare plot in the southwestern commune of Novello. Aged for 30 months in 25 hectoliter wood barrels, this wine has both structure and grace. A deeply comples wine with sturdy tannins and high acidity.

Tasting Notes
A beautiful ruby red color leading to garnet tones. Our Barolo features a complex bouquet combining fresh red fruits, such as red cherry and wild plum, sheathed in spice notes of anise, with rose petals, tobacco, and camphor. A deeply complex wine. Sturdy tannins and high acidity are the backbones, with elegance and finesse on the finish.
Vineyard Notes
From the 4-hectare Bergera Pezzole vineyard in the southwestern commune of Novello, grapes are grown in calcareous marl: sedimentary rocks heavy in clay and calcium carbonate as well as sandstone. The vineyard receives direct southern exposure.
Production Notes
Grapes are harvested by hand before being cold macerated for 24 hours. Fermentation lasts 20 days with occasional pump-overs at key stages. Natural malolactic fermentation occurs within the controlled environment. The wine is aged for 30 months in large 25 hectoliter wooden barrels made of Allier and Slavonian oak before aging is continued in cement for several months, then bottle-aged for an additional 12 months in Denver.
